Desires!!
“Too often, the thing you want most is the one thing you can’t have. Desire leaves us heartbroken, it wears us out. Desire can wreck your life. But as tough as wanting something can be. The people who suffer the most, are those who don’t know what they want.”
Monday Blues :(
- ohh! it’s Monday again
- What should I wear today?
- Why’s the time running so fast?
- Can I sleep for 5 more mins?
- What dream I was having in the night?
- Why am I not a morning person?
- Am I getting late of work?
- Why do I have to go to work?
- When will I get retire?
- What should I wear?
- Why do I am always short of clothes?
- When will I loose some weight?
- Isn’t that a stupid rhetorical question?
- When will I get a good gym and a good time plan to workout?
- Why am I in India?
- Why there’s so much of dust and heat in India?
- Why do I crib?
- Why did I come back?
- Why did I not go to London?
- When will I get my Mr. Right?
- Will I ever get my Mr. Right?
- Why do I care about what people think?
- Why do people think about things that other people care about?
- Where do I see myself five years from now?
- Where do I see myself one month from now?
- Why is everything so out of control?
- When did marriage become something I think about in the loo?
- Where did this pimple come from?
- Will I finish my work on time?
- Why I am doing this job?
- When will I be super rich?
- When will I have my own house?
- When will I have a great gang of friends like I used to have?
- Can’t I have a better breakfast then kellogs?
- Why I am not living with my family?
- Why can’t I have a normal life?
- Is my life abnormal?
- Why am I forgetting something important?
- Why does the bell ring so much in the morning?
- Why did I over-eat the sweet dish last night?
- Why do I stress eat?
- Why my car’s fuel tank is always empty?
- Why am I in office today?
- How will the entire day pass?
- Why there’s no response from the immigration department yet?
- When will the GBP rate rise?
- When will be the lunch time?
- Why my colleagues have nothing else to talk than work?
- When will the clock strike 6 in the evening?
- Why I miss my gym class today?
- Why aren’t there any good shows on the TV?
- When will the maid learn to cook good food?
- Why I am being so restless?
- When will mom stop pestering me over the phone?
- What’s up with Raina?
- Howz Rama managing her life?
- Will I get the e-mail tomorrow?
- Do I really want to leave India?
- Why tomorrow isn’t a Saturday?

"The supreme happiness in life is the conviction that we are loved — loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves." - Victor Hugo
hmmm!!
"Turn your face to the sun
Drink it in
Soak it up
Turn your face to the sun
And thank God that you've made it
Through another day
Turn your face to the sun
Batten down the hatches
To face the coming dark
Turn your face to the sun
Celebrate all you have done
All the battles you've won
Then sleep like a baby
While I watch you
Till the sun once more comes."
Drink it in
Soak it up
Turn your face to the sun
And thank God that you've made it
Through another day
Turn your face to the sun
Batten down the hatches
To face the coming dark
Turn your face to the sun
Celebrate all you have done
All the battles you've won
Then sleep like a baby
While I watch you
Till the sun once more comes."
so true!
by: Swami Vivekananda
First hear, then understand, and then,
leaving all distractions, shut your mind to
outside influences and devote yourself
to developing the Truth within you.
There is the danger of frittering your
energies by taking up an idea only for its
novelty, and then giving it up for another
that is newer.
Take one thing up and do it, and see the
end of it, and before you have seen the end,
do not give it up.
He who can become mad with an idea,
He alone sees light!.
beautiful!!!
By: E.E Cummings
I carry your heart with me,
I carry it in my heart.
I’m never without it,
Anywhere I go you go, my dear.
Whatever is done by only me,
Is your doing, my darling.
I fear no fate,
For you are my fate, my sweet.
I want no world,
For beautiful you are my world, my true.
And whatever a moon has always meant,
And whatever a sun will always sing is you.
Here is the deepest secret nobody knows;
Here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud,
And the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
Which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide,
And this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart.
I carry your heart with me,
I carry it in my heart.
I carry your heart with me,
I carry it in my heart.
I’m never without it,
Anywhere I go you go, my dear.

I carry your heart with me,
I carry it in my heart.
Start Living
There's a book which has been resting on my side table for quite some time now, waiting for a perfect time to start of. This is one of those good books which i never wanted to start in a rush. I always wanted to get into a perfect time slot, into a perfect mood swing and into a perfect setup before starting to turn pages of this one. Quite often there were times when i could have gulped a page or two..either in a lazy moment of a busy weekend or during a busy commute of a monotonuous weekday...but somehow always avoided hoping to get a perfect start. And the irony is that days, weeks, months have passed...and that book is still un-discovered. There have been times when i was totally free - but then thought of not to waste time in this less ROI activity as it's seldom that i get free time so i should invest it in more better ways; a book i can read any other time :) .....and there have been times when i was jam-pack busy and yet could have grabbed few time slots for myself - but still didn't start to read thinking the same "a book i can read any other time :) ".
For most of us, there's this book somewhere lying on our side tables. Every passing day, we all get a chance not just to longingly stare at the cover of the book..not just to hold it to eventually put it back again...but also to grab it, open it and read it as well. But then, getting a chance and recognising it and further availing it is what makes a difference.
All of us are doing/trying everything perfectly for the sake of life; but sadly at the cost of life itself.
Let's give our lives some time to live. let's make conscious decisions to grab those untouched books of our lives to read and to enjoy and to share. So that when we die we could say "That I also lived the life I wanted it to be? Or at least tried doing so?”.
