Being Ownself

Zen says - the frog becomes the frog. In other words, it's important to simply be yourself. this reminds me of Osho saying :
"The trees are not trying to become the stars and the stars are not trying to become flowers. They are all residing as themselves. Thus, there is freedom from comparison and freedom from chasing "the other". There is no sense of feeling "less" or something lacking, which is brought about through the insanity of measuring against some fictitious ideal, or another. This means that you don’t have to try to become something other than who you are."
:) so ironic that the secret that the flowers, trees and stars know, we humans struggle to understand.

I personally couldn't stop laughing at the thought that how difficult it is to be your ownself!! such a simple thing, yet so very complex. In other words, if you think, achieving the "being yourself" state is nothing more than being "fundamentally happy". Just pause and think - being basically happy about who you are! How could it be so difficult to achieve?? but the truth is that it is probably the most unfathomable trait. We as humans have become so much slaves to certain defined dogmas of society, religion, culture etc. that we are loosing our very basic connection from what should be the prime guide - the nature..the prakriti.

The first step in being yourself, has to be to accept yourself..and this could be achieved only with having psitive thought mechanism which says that everything around me and including me is perfect. Apart from (not "instead of") just running and running after desires, celebrate your present self. You as a person..you as a soul is an entity that doesn't change if you get that dream car or not...nor does it change if you fail to pass an exam. You as your soul is the truth..is the beauty of life..is the joy of your being...So, celebrate your existence and just be beautifully happy.
